Terms of Service
Last updated: September 29, 2026
The short version. ProjectionsLab is an information and analytics service. We do not take bets, hold your money, or place trades. Nothing we publish is financial, investment or betting advice, and the AI can be wrong. Every decision you make with our information is yours. Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel. The full terms below are what actually apply.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and ProjectionsLab, a business operated in North Carolina ("ProjectionsLab," "we," "us"). They govern your use of projectionslab.com, golfapp.projectionslab.com, our application programming interface and connector endpoints, and every related feature, email and tool (together, the "Services"). By creating an account, signing in, buying a plan, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms, to our Privacy Policy, and to our Subscription & Refund Policy, which are part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. What the Services are
The Services currently include:
- Trade Assistant — an AI assistant that answers questions about sports, prediction markets, commodities, crypto, stocks and related topics, using live data we gather and, if you choose, information from accounts you connect.
- Market Context — live and near-live data displays covering sports, commodities, crypto, macro indicators and prediction markets.
- Watchlist — saved markets, assets, games, followed public Polymarket wallets and daily fantasy (DFS) lineups.
- DFS lineup tools — lineup building and review based on publicly available contest and salary information, or a salary file you upload.
- PGA Dashboard — golf projections, rankings and tournament tools.
- API and connector access — for eligible plans, keys that let your own software or AI tools send questions to the Trade Assistant.
- Emails — sign-in links, purchase confirmations, and optional reports and highlights.
We may add, change, limit or remove features at any time. Features described as beta, preview or "coming soon" are provided as-is and may never ship.
3. We are not a sportsbook, exchange, broker or adviser
ProjectionsLab does not accept wagers, offer or operate any game of chance, hold funds, custody assets, execute trades, place orders, or act as an intermediary for any transaction. You cannot bet, trade or deposit money through the Services. Any bet, trade, contract or DFS entry you make is made directly with a third party (for example a sportsbook, Kalshi, Polymarket or DraftKings), under that third party's terms, and is solely between you and it.
ProjectionsLab is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading adviser, futures commission merchant, or licensed gaming operator, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any sportsbook, exchange, league, team or data provider named in the Services. Names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify their markets and data.
You are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you, including whether wagering, prediction-market trading or DFS contests are legal where you are, and any age or eligibility rules those platforms set.
4. Not advice; no guarantees
Everything in the Services — including AI answers, probabilities, "edges," leans, picks, projections, lineups, track records, calibration figures, highlights and emails — is general information provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal or betting advice, it is not tailored to your circumstances, and it is not a recommendation that you buy, sell, bet on or enter anything.
- AI output can be wrong. The Trade Assistant is generated by an AI model. It can misread data, misstate facts, use stale or incomplete information, invent details, or be confidently mistaken. Verify anything important with an independent source before relying on it.
- Data can be late or wrong. Prices, odds, lines, scores, injuries, rosters and other data come from third parties and can be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect.
- Past results do not predict future results. Any track record or hit rate we show describes past calls, may be based on a small sample, and is not a promise of future performance.
- You can lose money. Betting, prediction markets, DFS and trading carry real risk, including the loss of everything you put in. Only risk what you can afford to lose.
If gambling is causing you problems, help is available. In the U.S., call or text 1-800-GAMBLER or visit ncpgambling.org.
5. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy a paid plan or credits. You sign in with a link sent to your email address, so keeping access to that inbox secure is how you keep your account secure. Your account is for you personally: do not share it, sell it, or let others use your plan. You are responsible for activity on your account and must give us accurate information. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
6. Paid plans, credits and billing
Some features require a paid subscription or question credits. Prices, what each plan includes, automatic renewal, cancellation and refunds are described in our Subscription & Refund Policy. By purchasing, you authorize us and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your payment method as described there, including recurring monthly charges until you cancel.
7. Connected accounts
You may choose to connect third-party accounts (currently Kalshi, Polymarket and Polymarket US) so the Trade Assistant can take your positions into account. By connecting one, you confirm that you are authorized to use it and that doing so does not violate that platform's terms.
- We use connected credentials only to read account information such as balances, positions and settlement history. The Services do not place orders, move funds or change settings on your behalf.
- Where a platform lets you limit an API key's permissions, we recommend creating a key with the least access available. You are responsible for the keys you create and can revoke them on the platform at any time.
- You can disconnect an account in the Services at any time, which deletes the stored credentials. Connections are a paid feature: when your paid plan ends, we disconnect them and delete the stored credentials automatically.
- We are not responsible for third-party platforms, their availability, their data, or any change to their APIs that stops a connection from working.
8. API and connector access
If your plan includes API access, you may generate keys to call the Trade Assistant from your own software or from AI tools you use. API keys are secret and are shown to you only once: keep them private, and revoke any key you believe has been exposed. API use is subject to the rate limits and monthly allowances shown in your account, which we may adjust. You may not resell, sublicense, or provide API access to others, use it to build a competing product, or use it in a way that degrades the Services for other users. When you connect the Services to another AI tool, the answers we return are handled by that tool under its own terms. We may suspend or revoke keys that are misused.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or in violation of a third party's terms;
- create multiple accounts, or otherwise work around question limits, quotas, rate limits or payment;
- scrape, crawl, or use bots or automated means to access the Services other than through API access we provide to you;
- attempt to extract our prompts, models, source code, or data, or reverse engineer the Services, except where the law expressly allows it;
- probe, scan or test the security of the Services, or interfere with or disrupt them;
- submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or that contains malware;
- submit other people's personal information, or your own sensitive information (such as government ID numbers, health information, or financial account passwords), in questions;
- resell, redistribute, or republish Service output (for example as a paid picks, tips or signals service) without our written permission; or
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with ProjectionsLab.
10. Your content, and how we use it
"Your content" means the questions, messages, uploaded files, watchlist items, lineups and other material you submit. You keep whatever rights you have in it. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit and display your content to operate and provide the Services to you, including sending it to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy (such as our AI provider).
The Trade Assistant records the calls it makes in answering you — the market, the side, the stated probability, the market price and its reasoning — and grades them when the outcome is known. You also grant us the right to use those records and your content in de-identified or aggregated form to measure and improve the Services: for example to compute the assistant's track record and calibration, to derive general lessons it applies to all users, and to show examples of its calls in product emails and on the site. We do not attach your name or email to anything shown to other users.
You may use the output the Services give you for your own personal purposes, subject to Section 9.
11. Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feedback, including message ratings, we may use them without any obligation to you.
12. Our intellectual property
The Services — including the software, design, text, models, prompts, projections, compiled data and branding — are owned by ProjectionsLab or its licensors and are protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
13. Third-party data, links and services
The Services display and rely on information from third parties, including sports data providers, prediction markets, sportsbooks' published odds, DFS platforms and market-data sources, and they link to third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, services, accuracy or availability, and a link or display is not an endorsement. Your use of any third-party service is governed by its terms and privacy policy.
14. Affiliate and referral partners
If you promote ProjectionsLab as an affiliate or referral partner, you do so under a separate written agreement with us, which controls if it conflicts with these Terms. Partners must clearly disclose their relationship with ProjectionsLab wherever they promote it, as the FTC's endorsement guides require; must not make false or misleading claims, including promises of winnings or guaranteed results; and must not use spam or misleading advertising. We may end a partnership for violations and withhold payouts tied to them.
15. Emails
We send transactional emails (such as sign-in links and purchase confirmations) as part of the Services. We may also send reports, highlights and product updates, and every one of those includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not affect sign-in or other transactional emails.
16. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Services running but do not promise they will be available, uninterrupted, timely or error-free. Questions can fail, data sources can go down, and features can change. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. If we permanently discontinue a paid plan, the Subscription & Refund Policy explains what happens to your subscription.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or end your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, fail to pay, or if we stop offering the Services. If we end your paid access for a reason other than your violation of these Terms, we will refund the unused portion of your current prepaid period. Sections 3, 4, 10 through 14, and 18 through 23 survive termination.
18. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services and all content and output are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Services or any output will be accurate, complete, current, reliable, secure, error-free, or that they will lead to any particular result, profit or outcome.
19. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) ProjectionsLab and its owners, employees, contractors and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or any wagering, trading, investment or DFS losses, arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility; and (b) our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars ($50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain of these exclusions or limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
20. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless ProjectionsLab and its owners, employees and contractors from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your content, your violation of these Terms or any law, or your dealings with any third-party platform.
21. Disputes and arbitration
Talk to us first. Before filing any claim, you agree to email [email protected] describing the dispute and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally.
Binding individual arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, you and ProjectionsLab agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration may be held remotely or in the county where you live. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies, and either party may seek an injunction in court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
No class actions. Disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis. Neither you nor we may bring or take part in a class, collective, consolidated or representative action or arbitration.
Opting out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] from your account's email address within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, saying that you opt out. If you opt out, or if this section is found unenforceable, disputes will be resolved in the courts described in Section 22.
22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to Section 21, you and we consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in North Carolina for any dispute that is not arbitrated.
23. General
These Terms, together with the policies they reference, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
24. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in advance by email or through the Services. Changes apply from the date shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Services after that date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Services and cancel any subscription.
